Community Outreach

A fundamental part of the Old Hemlock Foundation is supporting students in our community and local organizations in Preston County. Each year, the foundation provides scholarships for West Virginia University Medical School students and Bruceton Alumni. Additionally, the foundation supports the Preston County Humane Society and offers funding to Bruceton Schools for art and literature education.

The foundation also supports the Old Hemlock Bird Observatory which monitors avian population and survivorship through bird banding, bird surveys and education.
